Mama’s Blends

Born from a little moment of motherhood, and blended with nature in mind.

Since launching Blended By Mama in 2019, I’ve always wanted to find a way for more people to enjoy the botanical blends I create — including those who choose a vegan lifestyle.

I’ve never felt that soy wax was the right fit for Blended By Mama, and despite searching for a vegan-friendly wax that met the standards I was looking for, I hadn’t yet found one that felt right.

So I began to wonder…

What if the blends didn’t need to be wax melts at all?

The answer came one evening when our little Ava was full of cold, congested and struggling to settle. I switched on our cool-air diffuser and added a few drops of eucalyptus essential oil. As I sat beside her, watching her finally drift off to sleep, something clicked.

I woke the following morning knowing exactly what I wanted to create.

And so Mama’s Blends were born. 🌿

Pure essential oils, simply blended

Each Mama’s Blend contains 10ml of a carefully crafted blend of pure essential oils, chosen for their individual character and how beautifully they work together.

Just like my wax melts, the blends are inspired by nature, seasons, memories and the little rituals that make a house feel like home.

There are no unnecessary fillers or complicated ingredients — just thoughtfully chosen essential oils, blended in small batches with care.

Because essential oils are highly concentrated, each blend comes with guidance for appropriate use. They are intended to be used as directed and are not designed to be applied directly to the skin unless specifically stated.

A little bottle with a little thought behind it

The blends come in 10ml amber glass bottles.

Amber glass helps protect the essential oils from UV light, helping to preserve their quality and shelf life. It also means your bottle can be kept and reused rather than becoming another piece of single-use plastic.

You can choose between an aluminium screw cap or a reusable glass dropper.

If you choose the dropper, I’d love for you to keep it and give it another life — perhaps returning to Blended By Mama for your next blend and reusing it again and again.

When you’re finished with a bottle, the glass can be recycled and the aluminium cap can be recycled too, according to your local recycling facilities.

I’ve always believed that small choices can add up.

So, from the ingredients I choose to the bottles they come in, I’m continually looking for ways to make Blended By Mama a little more thoughtful, a little less wasteful and a little kinder to the world around us.
