Mama’s Blends

Since launching Blended By Mama back in October 2019 I’ve been working hard to research a way where vegans could also enjoy the blends that I create. I have such strong feelings against the use of soy wax and I have yet to find a suitable alternative wax that is still vegan friendly, so with that said, whatever I came up with wouldn’t be a melt.

It wasn’t until one night where our little Ava was full of cold, congested and couldn’t sleep; I switched on our cool air diffuser and added in a few drops of eucalyptus oil, helping her settle her for a restful nights sleep. I woke up the following morning and knew instantly what I wanted and needed to do.

Each bottle contains 10ml of a pure essential oil blend and is made with amber glass. This type of glass helps to block UV light, protecting the oils and preventing them from spoiling. There is also an option of either an aluminium cap or a reusable glass dropper.

I’ve tried to keep plastic to a minimum with the bottles and do hope that if customers go with the glass dropper option, they’ll continue to reuse it for future blends and in turn can then go for the aluminium cap option, that can then be recycled when finished with.
